Cherry Hill Coffee is pleased to announce that it is introducing ecotainer™ eco-friendly to-go coffee cup to our customers available in 12, 16 and 20 oz cups. The ecotainer™ line has been designed to provide a more environmentally sensitive alternative to standard paper cups.
Ecotainer™ cups are made from fully renewable and sustainable resources, and best of all are 100% compostable. Made with a bio-plastic fashioned out of corn, the ecotainer™ cup can, under the proper conditions, break down into water, carbon dioxide and organic matter. This will divert countless coffee cups away from landfills. Unlike conventional cups which are made with polyethylene, the ecotainer™ lining is coated with a bioplastic made from corn. The liner is covered with an outer layer of paper, which is harvested from trees managed in accordance with Sustainable Forestry Initiative guidelines, making the ecotainer™ cup eco-friendly all the way around.
